close, but no sigar

New kid on the block in the world of online library sites is Shelfari.
Assuming things could only get better (after my initial search for a book version of last.fm), I checked out Shelfari as recommended by Lifehacker, but alas ...

I tried

But the result was not great. The import of my miserable 76 books on Librarything failed to the extend that only 23 of them were loaded on my shelf.

The sad thing is that I couldn't even bring myself to find out why it didn't work.
Maybe in better times?

librarything

Now that I found a nice home for my music habbits, next thing on my list is my collection of books.
While searching for a last.fm for books I stumbled upon www.librarything.com, which I will give a try.
The fact that they intend to charge money for this service may be a drawback, but the initial 200 books you can load for free should give you a headstart with a modest collection like mine.

update: et voila! Here is my profile and here my catalogue (at least the first 67 ones, the rest will require some manual entry)
